The Charlottesville Area Trail Runners (CATs) is leading a special work party this Sunday, September 6, to spruce up the new trail segment between Fontaine Ave and Stribling Ave Ext and the spur loop around the Virginia Forestry Building. We'll be cutting back the vegetation from the trail and removing debris, getting everything in top condition for Loop de'Ville.

Meet at the RTF Tool Shed at 2030 Morton Drive. at 8:30 AM. We will gather tools, head to the work site, and finish at about 11:00 AM. Alternatively, you can meet us directly at the work site at the Forestry Building, but if you plan to go directly to the site, please text Walt (864-985-2960) so we can be sure to bring enough tools.

Please wear gloves and clothing suitable for the conditions - shorts may not be the best if using a weed trimmer. We will have tools you can use and gloves for those who need them, but if you bring your own (e.g., hand clippers, long-handled loppers, saw), label them with your name.
