Rivanna Trails

Activities Especially Suited for Kids
(and Accompanying Adults)

The Rivanna Trail and other local trails are ideal places to help children learn about the natural world and to experience the fun of being out doors.

If you are a young person (or you know one) who would like to do a service project on a portion of the Rivanna Trail, click here to download details on Community Service Projects for Young Children.

This is a version of our trail guide adapted to the interests of young hikers. (pdf)
