Please join us for our monthly work party. We will be working this month to reopen and improve the original Rivanna Trail along Meadow Creek near the new Meadowcreek Parkway multiuse trail. We will have work for all skill levels, so feel free to bring family and friends.

 

Wear work gloves, long pants, and long sleeves. Bring the following yard tools if you have them: hand clippers, long-handled loppers, and pruning saws.

 

We could especially use the following skills or equipment: a truck or trailer for hauling mowers to the site; wheelbarrows; trained and safety-equipped sawyers for several 5-10 inch fallen trees; mowers capable of cutting woody multi-flora rose stems. Please contact work party leader Diana Foster ahead of time if you can help with any of these.
