Our monthly work party is a week earlier in June than usual, so that we can participate in the American Hiking Society's National Trails Day - a nationwide effort to celebrate and support trails of all types. As a special project for this year, RTF is joining with other local groups to relocate the trail sections circling the Ragged Mountain Reservoir that will be impacted by the new dam and expanded reservoir. Shuttle buses will be available from the parking area at Trinity Presbyterian Church (3101 Fontaine Avenue Ext., just west of the 29/250 Bypass). Contact Chris Gensic for more information.
